Location: Seattle, Washington Franchise Owner Since: 2006 Family Information: My husband Mick and I celebrated our 10th Wedding Anniversary just after our first JBF Sale. It’s amazing how fast the time goes by!
Experience: In addition to being a new JBF owner I currently work as an Administrator in a large office environment. Over the years, I have done a little bit of everything: I have worked in Hotel Management, Catering, Law Enforcement and the Airline Industry. My very first job while I was in high school was with a Japanese import/export firm and that encouraged my desire to see the world from an early age! I firmly believe that variety is the spice of life and love to learn and try and see new things! Why did you become a JBF Owner? I love to organize events! I’m looking forward to the opportunity to use my skills to create a fun and purposeful business that can be such a blessing to young families and charitable community groups. JBF is such a wonderful win-win for the whole community, I wanted to bring it to the Seattle area for all to benefit from and to enjoy. | Goals for your Just Between Friends Sale: 1. Support the community through a fun Sale event that has great quality merchandise and bargains for all! 2. Build a successful business so that many, many happy consignors and shoppers will look forward to the next sale and will be proud to tell their friends and family about the JBF Sale! 3. Give back to the community through charitable donations and well planned, community programs. Where do you want to be in One Year? Five Years? One Year Goal: I want the JBF Sale to be well known throughout the Seattle area for Quality Merchandise and as a FUN event to attend and a great way to get incredible bargains. Five Year Goal: I want to have a successful sale known as a good contributor to the community that has very happy customers. Interest & Hobbies: My husband and I are very close with our family and our nine nieces and nephews are great fun. I enjoy gardening as a peaceful and relaxing hobby. Our yellow lab thinks we should be out hiking and camping EVERY weekend but we go when we can get away. We’d love to own a cabin on a lake someday and take in alot of peace and quiet. I am active in my community and have had great fun organizing events, including the local 4th of July Fun Run for the past eight years. I love to travel - exploring and learning about new places and things far and near. Contact Information: kay@jbfsale.com 206-248-9382
