Getting Started After you register you are ready to get started. Please read all of the information located under merchandise prep and how to tag. Please pay close attention to what items are acceptable to bring to the Seattle sale and then start gathering those items together. At the Seattle JBF Sale, we plan for each of our Consignors to sign up for at least one 4 hour slot to help out. If everyone pitches in, the load is light and we are able to keep our costs down while running a well organized Sale event! If you do volunteer, then you will earn the full Consignor percentage of 70% and we waive the $10 Consignor fee! We also understand that people are busy, so as long as we can, we will offer the opportunity for others to pickup your volunteer slot and earn the extra 5% bonus for themselves if they volunteer to fill your 4 hour slot (and another 5% for each additional 4 hours). If you are unable to volunteer at least 4 hours, you will receive 65% on any item that sells, less a $10 Consignor fee.

Tag Template Check out our CUTE tag template. You can download 9 pre-made tags. These are great for tagging those multiple pieces items. The first item of a group MUST have a barcoded tag printed from our free tagging program at www.myjbftags.com. After that, use manual tags to help us keep these items together. Additional tags should NOT have a price on them and clearly indicate "2 of 4" or "3 of 4" etc. You can easily add as much information as you would like to each tag and print them off. Remember to type your consignor number onto each tag in the template. Please use cardstock only. VIP Tagging - Book early for the Fall, 2009 Sale. We expect this to sell out very quickly! Too busy to consign? Have your items prepared and tagged for you. You will make a reduced percentage for this convenient service - VIP tags earn 45 - 50% and let someone else do the work for you. Its SO easy! You do not need to provide any hangers or supplies and you still qualify for any bonus programs like our refer 3 new Consignors and get an extra 5%! All of your clothing will be pressed and hung for you. Items must be free of stains and toys must have all working parts and batteries. VIP Tagging is available only to a limited number of Consignors for each Sale and opens for dropoff about two months before the sale and closes for dropoff when capacity has been reached or about three weeks before the Sale, whichever is first. Invite Other "Friends" to Participate The JBF sale continues to grow due to the incredible base of loyal consignors and shoppers who are constantly telling others about this great event. Please email us if you would like to receive a color flier or poster to display in your work place or other bulletin board. We really appreciate the assistance we receive from our supporters!
Your Check's In the Mail Consignor checks will be in the mailed within 30 days after the sale completion. Consignors make 65 - 70% of the selling price (less a $10 consignor fee that will be deducted from your check). Making extra money is FUN with Just Between Friends!!
